The Arkansas State Marketing Board for Recyclables and Compliance Advisory Panel (“Board”) is scheduled to hold its fourth quarterly meeting on November 17th.
The meeting will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It will be held at the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment (“ E&E”) Headquarters at 5301 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, AR.
The Board meets quarterly and consists of five members who are appointed by the Governor. The Board advises and assists the E&E Division of Environmental Quality with finding and maintaining markets for recyclable materials in Arkansas.
The Compliance Advisory Panel is described as a federal program established to help small businesses with their air permits.
The November 17th agenda includes:
- Review of the Board’s accomplishments in 2022
- Goals for 2023
- Office update to members by DEQ Office of Air Quality representative
- Report by E&E Director of Special Projects
The public is encouraged to attend the quarterly Board meetings. Registration may be accomplished by emailing Vanessa Kohrs at vanessa.kohrs@adeq.state.ar.us by 5 PM Friday, November 11, 2022.
