The Arkansas State Marketing Board for Recyclables and Compliance Advisory Panel (“Board”) is scheduled to meet on October 13th via Zoom.
The Board meets quarterly.
The Board consists of five members who are appointed by the Governor. Its duties include advising and assisting the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment – Division of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”) with:
. . . finding and maintaining markets for recyclable materials in Arkansas.
The Compliance Advisory Panel is described as a federal program established to help small businesses with its air permits.
Agenda items for the October 13th meeting include:
- Discussion of DEQ Office of Air Quality’s new assistance program for facilities subject to permitting for air emissions
- Fiscal overview
- Review of panel requirements under Act 1067
- Vacant positions
- 2021 planning
The public is encouraged to attend quarterly board meetings.
