The Arkansas State Marketing Board for Recyclables and Compliance Advisory Panel (“Board”) has scheduled a meeting for December 12th in Little Rock, Arkansas.
As the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) notes in its news release, the Board meets on a quarterly basis.
The Board is headed by five members who are appointed by the Governor.
The Board recently merged with the Compliance Advisory Panel as mandated by legislation. It continues to undertake various activities intended to foster and develop recycling and also advise small business on complications associated with air, water, and land resources enforcement.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and be held at ADEQ headquarters in North Little Rock. There will be a subsequent site visit to Davis Rubber Company at 1800 East 14th Street in Little Rock.
ADEQ states that the agenda currently includes items such as:
- Discussion of small air permitting assistance needs
- Discussion of legislative changes that affect small businesses
- Annual budget review
ADEQ Tire Accountability Program personnel are scheduled to present a program overview.
