The annual Arkansas Water Resources Conference (“Conference”) has been scheduled for July 18-20, 2023, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Conference will be held in the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences.
Partners identified as participating in the Conference include:
- Arkansas Department of Agriculture Forestry Division
- Arkansas Forest and Drinking Water Collaborative
- Beaver Watershed Alliance
- University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture
- Illinois River Watershed Partnership
Topics identified for the Conference include:
- Updated Water Quality Research Conducted in Arkansas
- Non-Point Source Pollution Projects
- Source Water Protection in Forest Management
- Management Plans
- Watershed Groups and a Watershed Discussion Panel Addressing Several Key Source Watersheds in Arkansas
The Conference will also include workshops and field tours and is approved for up to 20 contact hours for directly applicable water license training credit.
