The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (“AGFC”) will hold a Water Webinar on Tuesday, November 5th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
The Webinar is described as covering:
…how the commission improved conservation-based recreation and habitat with infrastructure development projects.
The Webinar is one of the monthly Arkansas Water Webinar series produced by the Arkansas Water Resources Center that addresses various water topics relevant to Arkansas.
The November 5th Webinar will be presented by Mr. David Bowman, whose title is recreation and access coordinator for AGFC.
The Presentation is stated to address:
- New improvements that AGFC has implemented such as:
- Improving water quality.
- Stream fisheries habitat.
- Stream bank stabilization.
- Riverside access.
- Bank fishing at river access sites.
- Advancement in access area design with built-in sustainability.
- No-mow areas.
- Providing pollinator habitat.
- Solar-powered safety lighting.
