The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) announced an upcoming presentation titled:
USGS StreamStats Program: A U.S. Geological Survey Web Map Application for Basin Characteristics and Streamflow Statistics
The presentation is a part of the BWA’s Speaker Series titled “Investing in Water Supply Protection in NWA.”
The presentation will be undertaken by Mr. Dan Wagner. Mr .Wagner is a Hydrologist. He is employed by the U.S. Geological Survey, Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center (Fayetteville, Arkansas).
Mr. Wagner’s presentation will discuss:
. . . the StreamStats program which allows users to easily obtain streamflow statistics, basin characteristics, and descriptive information to estimate peak flows and helps in planning for and protecting water quality and built infrastructure.
The presentation will be undertaken on August 31st from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will be held at the Washington County Cooperative Extension located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
