The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) announced in its June newsletter the next speaker/topics for its Quarterly Speaker Series.
BWA states that the speakers will include:
- Dan Skoff, Chief Meteorologist KNWA Fox 24
- John Balgavy, Deputy Chief of Engineering and Construction Division (retired), Little Rock District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Mr. Skoff’s topic is stated to be the short-term and long-term weather patterns for the Ozarks.
Mr. Balgavy will discuss the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operations side of Beaver Lake. Specifically, he will address how such operations have been influenced by changing weather patterns.
