The Buffalo River Conservation Committee will hold its next meeting on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. via Zoom.
The Committee was established by Governor Hutchinson in 2016 in order to develop an Arkansas-led, non-regulatory approach to identify opportunities to protect and maintain water quality in the Buffalo River Watershed.
Agenda items are stated to include:

- Updates from focus area working groups
- Cost-share Programs for Agriculture
- Unpaved Roads
- Water and Wastewater System Infrastructure
- Tourism and Tourism Impacts
- BRCC Funding Application Presentations

- Robert Byrd, USDA APHIS Wildlife Service (WS)
- Darryl Treat, Searcy County Chamber of Commerce
- Amit Sinha, University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff
