The Buffalo River Conservation Committee (“Committee”) will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, November 30th, at 11:00 a.m.
The meeting will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, 108 Noah Horton Memorial Drive, Marshall, AR.
A Committee was established by Governor Hutchinson in 2016 in order to develop an Arkansas-led non-regulatory approach to identify opportunities to protect and maintain water quality in the Buffalo River Watershed.
Agenda items are stated to include:
- Update from focus area working groups
- Cost-share Programs for Agriculture
- Unpaved Roads
- Water and Wastewater System Infrastructure
- Tourism and Tourism Impacts
- American Rescue Plan Update/Infrastructure Bill Overview
- Annual Report Discussion
