The Buffalo River Conservation Committee (“Committee”) will hold its next meeting on October 31st at 9:00 a.m.
The meeting will be held at the Marshall Civic Center, 515 Zack Road, Marshall, Arkansas.
The Committee was established by Governor Hutchinson in 2016 in order to develop an Arkansas-led non-regulatory approach to identify opportunities to protect and maintain quality in the Buffalo River Watershed.
Substantive agenda items include:
- Update from focus area working group:
- Cost-share Programs for Agriculture
- Unpaved Roads
- Water and Wastewater System Infrastructure
- Tourism and Tourism Impacts
- Discuss remaining Committee funds and project proposals
