The linked post addressing the Carroll County Solid Waste Authority’s Request to Become an Arkansas Regional Solid Waste District that was posted earlier this morning contains a major error. (See previous post here.)
The Minute Order referenced in the post is a draft proposed by the Receiver for the Ozark Mountain Regional Solid Waste Management District (opposing the Petition) as opposed to a final decision of the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission (“Commission”).
The Commission will consider both the Petition and Ozark Mountain Regional Solid Waste Management District’s opposition to the Petition at the Commission meeting tomorrow.
I regret the error and any confusion it has caused.
