The American Public Power Association (“APPA”) recognized certain members with a “Certificate of Excellence in Reliability” for reliable performance in 2021.
The Arkansas APPA members recognized include:
- City of Siloam Springs, Arkansas
- Clarksville Connected Utilities, Clarksville, Arkansas
- Conway Corporation, Conway, Arkansas
- Hope Water & Light, Hope, Arkansas
APPA describes itself as the voice of non-for-profit community-owned utilities that power 2,000 towns and cities nationwide.
APPA’s Certificate of Excellence in Reliability is stated to recognize utilities with average SAIDI in the top quartile of SAIDI including or excluding Major event Days based on United States Energy Information Administration data in 2016-2020. Only utilities who subscribe to the eReliability Tracker service are eligible for the certificate.
