The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) issued draft FY 2023-2024 National Program Guidances (“NPGs”).
The draft NPGs include:
- Overview to the NPGs
- Office of Air and Radiation
- Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations
- Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention
- Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention
- Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance
- Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights Compliance Office
- Office of international and Tribal Affairs
- Office of Land and Emergency Management

EPA issues the NPGs every two years to its Regional Offices, the states and tribes. The NPGs outline EPA priorities and implementation strategies for the coming fiscal year.
A new edition to the NPGs is the Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights Compliance. Its purpose is to coordinate with EPA’s FY 22-26 Strategic Plan which addresses advancing environmental justice and climate change.
