The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) issued and April 3rd news release recognizing excellence in innovation in certain clean water and drinking water infrastructure projects.
The recognized projects are funded in part by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund programs.
The recognized programs are stated to:
…highlight exemplary water infrastructure projects.
The town of Rambo, Arkansas was selected for an Honorable Mention. The town is in Benton County.
The project is described as:
…water system improvements to serve Rambo Water District #1 in Benton County Water Authority #5.
The town of Rambo was recognized under EPA’s Aquarius Program which addresses Drinking Water State Revolving Fund projects that are “innovative, sustainable, and protect public health”.
