The Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment – Division of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”) issued a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for:
Environmental Consulting Design Services for Site Assessments and Remedial Investigation/Actions
See 930-RFQ-2401.
The RFQ’s Notice of Intent states it is soliciting responses from qualified environmental consultants to provide the following:
- Professional site assessments
- Remedial investigations
- Remedial action plans
- Design services
Such services would be provided at potentially environmentally contaminated sites throughout the State of Arkansas.
Tasks described included:
- Site characterization
- Remedial design engineering
- Oversight of remediation activities at potentially contaminated sites
- Implementation of actions required for environmental emergency responses
The services will be provided pursuant to the following DEQ programs:
- State priority list
- Superfund operation and maintenance
- Arkansas Brownfield program
- CERCLA site assessment
- Post-closure trust fund
- Emergency response

The submittal deadline for a response to the RFQ is August 14th.
