The Arkansas Environmental Federation (“AEF”) is accepting applications for its Diamond Award.
The Diamond Award is an annual recognition for what is described as “Excellence in Environmental Leadership.”
Excellence in Environmental Leadership is described as a company that demonstrates initiative and/or leadership in managing its environmental affairs.
The Diamond Award winner receives a trophy and the opportunity to present their project during AEF’s annual convention. An independent panel appointed by the AEF Board of Directors determines the Award recipient.
All AEF members are eligible to apply.
Past winners include:
- 2023 Regional Recycling & Waste Reduction District
- 2022 WM
- 2021 Nucor Yamato
- 2020 LAXNESS
- 2019 Enable Midstream Partners
- 2018 Clearwater Paper
- 2017 El Dorado Chemical
AEF describes itself as:
- Industries’ representative at the Statehouse for Environmental Legislation in Arkansas.
- A gateway for industries to state regulators regarding environmental matters.
