The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) announced in a November 16th news release new members of the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee (“Committee”)
The new members named include Ms. Jennifer James of Newport, Arkansas.
Ms. James is listed as a member of J & J Land Company and Auvergne Grain Company.
The Committee members are described as including representatives from academia, industry (e.g. agriculture and allied industries), non-governmental organizations, and state, local, and travel governments. The stated purpose of the Committee is to provide independent policy advice, information, and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on environmental issues that are of importance to agriculture and rural communities.
The Committee has a total of 37 appointed members.
