The publication Utility Dive posted an article today stating that Commissioner Colette Honorable of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) has announced that she will not seek an additional term.
Commissioner Honorable’s first term ends in June 2017.
Ms. Honorable had been nominated to the FERC by President Obama in August 2014. She had previously served as Chairman of the Arkansas Public Service Commission from January 2011 to January 2015. Ms. Honorable is also a Past President of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners.
Ms. Honorable is a native of Arkansas and graduate of both the University of Memphis and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.
