The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) and Logan Agride – Service, Inc (“Logan”) entered into an April 15th Consent Agreement and Final Order (“CAFO”) addressing alleged violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (“FIFRA”) regulations. See Docket No. FIFRA-07-2024-0065.
The CAFO provides that Logan is a registered Pesticide Dealer that owns and operates a facility in (“facility”) in Paris, Missouri.
Logan is stated to be a Registered Pesticide Dealer.
The Missouri Department of Agriculture is stated to have conducted an inspection of Logan’s Paris, Missouri facility on July 4, 2023. Such inspection is alleged to have identified the following violations:
- Production of pesticides in an unregistered establishment.
- Sale and registration of misbranded pesticides
- Failure to maintain required repackaging agreement
Logan neither admits nor denies the allegations.
A civil penalty of $74,806 is assessed.
