The Arkansas Water Resources Center (“AWRC”) has issued a call for preproposals for the FY 2018 U.S. Geological Survey (“USGS”) 104G National Competitive Grant Program.
AWRC states that the grants will support “research on improving and enhancing the nation’s water supply.”
Eligibility is described as:
. . .Any investigator at an institution of higher education in the United States. In Arkansas, the researcher must submit their preproposal thorough the AWRC. Proposals that include significant collaboration between faculty researchers and the USGS are strongly encouraged.
Funding is stated to be available up to $250,000 and must be matched dollars for dollars from non-federal sources.
The project period is stated to be September 1, 2018 (start date) and can last up to three years in duration.
