The Arkansas Oil Marketers Association (“AOMA”) has scheduled a July 7th Hazardous Materials Regulation training class (“Class”).
The Class will be held in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, on July 7th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The course is designed for HAZMAT employees. This generally includes anyone who is employed by a HAZMAT employer and directly affects HAZMAT transportation safety. The course will familiarize attendees with the Hazardous Materials Regulations. The course satisfies the General Awareness training requirement 49 C.F.R. § 172.704(a)(1).
The training is for individuals who handle, manage, transport or ship hazardous materials. This includes employees who load, unload, and handle hazardous materials; select, mark, label or modify containers or packaging; prepare materials for shipping; prepare shipping papers or are responsible for the safety of hazardous materials during shipment and vehicle operators.
The AOMA training class will be held at the Arkadelphia Parks & Recreation at 2555 Twin Rivers Drive.
