The Illinois River Watershed Partnership (“IRWP”) scheduled a Riparian Buffer Field Tour for May 8th (“Field Tour”).
The Field Tour will be held at the Washington County Extension in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Morning presentations will include:
- Types of Riparian Buffer - Kyle Cunningham, Assistant Professor of Forestry, UA Division of Agriculture - CES
- Techniques on Establishing Riparian Buffers – Sandi Formica, Executive Director, Watershed Conservation Resource Center
A field tour of riparian demonstration sites will be conducted in the afternoon. The field tour is stated to be free and will include lunch. However an RSVP is required by calling Stephanie Burchfield at 479-215-6623 or emailing stephanie@irwp.org.
