Innovative Financing and Funding/Addressing America’s Crumbling Water Infrastructure: U.S. Senate Committee Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Fisheries, Water and Wildlife Hearing
The United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Fisheries, Water and Wildlife (“Subcommittee”) will hold a hearing on July 20th titled:
Innovative Financing and Funding: Addressing America’s Crumbling Water Infrastructure
The hearing has two Arkansas connections:
- U.S. Senator John Boozman is Chair of the Subcommittee
- Mike Frazee of the Rural Drinking Water Assistance program from Rogers, Arkansas will be a witness
The two other witnesses scheduled for the hearing include:
Executive Director/Chief Engineer, Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority
Camden, New Jersey
Vice President, Metropolitan Planning Council
Chicago, Illinois
Chairman Boozman’s Subcommittee’s jurisdiction includes:
- Clean Water Act (including wetlands)
- Safe Drinking Water Act
- Coastal Zone Management Act
- Invasive Species
- Fisheries and Wildlife
- Dangerous Species Act
- National Wildlife Refuges
- Outer Continental Shelf Lands
