The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) announced an upcoming presentation titled:
Integrating and Applying Low Impact Development Principles in Drainage Criteria Manuals (“Presentation”)
The Presentation is part of BWA’s Speaker Series titled “Investing in Water Supply Protection in NWA.”
The Presentation will be undertaken by Nathan Becknell, PE, PTOE. Mr. Becknell serves as the City Engineer for Rogers, Arkansas.
BWA states that the Presentation will address the benefits of including LID into drainage criteria manuals and the practical application of these techniques when development or redevelopment occurs. It is intended to assist regional stakeholders, including city and county representatives, developers, contractors, engineers, and those interested in learning more about storm water design and protecting source water supplies and their watersheds.
The workshop is scheduled for November 30th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Greenland Community Building, 170 N. Letitia Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas. The program is free and lunch is provided.
