The Natural Resources Defense Council (“NRDC”) and two other environmental organizations filed on December 20th a document styled:
Motion of Newburgh Clean Water Project, Natural Resources Defense Council, and Sierra Club to Intervene in Support of Respondents (“Motion”).
The Motion is filed in support of the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (“EPA”) rule entitled “National Primary Drinking Water Regulations for Lead and Copper: Improvements” (“LCRI”). See 89 Fed. Reg. 86,418.
The other environmental organizations joining the Motion include:
- Newburgh Clean Water Project.
- Sierra Club.
The Motion seeks to intervene on behalf of EPA in defending a challenge to the LCRI filed by the American Water Works Association.
