The Fayetteville Arkansas Library is hosting a webinar titled:
Low Impact Development Techniques: Stormwater Solutions for Homeowners (“Webinar”)
The free Webinar will be held on Saturday, June 12th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Topics to be addressed include:
- Ways to help protect local waterways by implementing low impact development techniques
- Methods and techniques used to slow down, spread out, and soak in stormwater on-site
- Creating an environmentally friendly place for wildlife
- Improving soil and water quality
- Green roofs, rain gardens, and phytoremediation
Speakers will include:
- Jane Maginot – Extension Agent with the University Of Arkansas System Cooperative Extension Service
- Lee Porter – University of Arkansas Architecture Graduate employed by Entegrity Partners
- Eric Fuselier – Environmental Scientist at Crafton Tull
