(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates and Woodyard, P.L.L.C. Attorneys Devin Bates and Colt Galloway have completed the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) 48th Annual Trial Academy held July 30 through August 5 at Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, Calif.
The IADC Trial Academy is the preeminent defense trial advocacy training program. The seven-day intensive program blended small group faculty instruction and demonstration by lawyers recognized as the best civil defense litigators followed by individual student participation and practice in the setting of a mock trial.
Bates litigates complex matters in state and federal court at both the trial and appellate level. He represents clients in conflicts involving the government, administrative proceedings, business disputes, education matters, products-liability cases and constitutional litigation.
Galloway is a litigator with experience in a broad variety of business and tort disputes. He has experience in the development of policies and best practices for the preservation and production of electronically stored information. Prior to joining the firm, Colt worked as in-house counsel for a multinational retailer.
