The Webinar is titled:
2021 Arkansas Legislative Session: What’s In? What’s Out? What’s All the Fuss About? (“Webinar”)
The focus of the Webinar are various issues associated with the recently concluded 93rd Arkansas General Assembly general session.
A number of the bills introduced address issues involving:
- Environment
- Energy
- Natural Resources
- Agriculture
Mitchell Williams attorneys Morril Harriman and Jordan Wimpy will participate in a roundtable discussion of the 2021 session along with Randy Thurman of the Governmental Affairs Firm, Government Solutions, LLC.
Randy served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1989 to 1994 and subsequently served as Executive Director of the Arkansas Environmental Federation (“AEF”) for 20 years. AEF’s membership includes over 200 of the state’s largest industrial, energy, and utility companies. He has served as a member of the Board and President of the Arkansas Society of Association Executives and the Arkansas Society of Professional Lobbyists.
Morril has focused his practice at Mitchell Williams on government relations for a number of years. He served for 16 years in the Arkansas State Senate and eight years as Chief of Staff for Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe. Morril also served for six years as President of the Poultry Federation, a multi-state trade association.
Jordan is a member of the Environmental Practice Group of Mitchell Williams.
The Webinar is free but space is limited and registration is required. Further, the Webinar has been approved for 1.00 hours of continuing legal education credit by the Arkansas Continuing Legal Education Board.
