The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust (“NALT”) recently announced the winners of its Great Oak Award (“Award”).
The Award is stated to recognize individuals and organizations for exemplary leadership of land conservation in Northwest Arkansas.
NALT is based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and describes its mission as:
Protecting and enhancing the quality of life in Northwest Arkansas through the protection of land.
The Beaver Water District (“BWD”) received the Award for “leadership and support of land conservation.” BWD cleans and purifies drinking water sourced from Beaver Lake and supplies it to Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville.
NALT presented an individual award to Nicole Hardiman and Ed Romero. They were recognized for their support of the Land Trust’s conservation efforts.
