The Quapaw Quarter Association (“QQA”) announced it has scheduled a webinar titled:
Preservation Conversations: ARDOT and GIS Technology, Mapping Historic Resources (“Webinar”)
The Webinar will include a presentation by Ms. Gina Hopkins.
The focus of the Webinar will be mapping historic buildings and other resources.
Ms. Hopkins is a Geographic Information Systems Specialist working with the Arkansas Department of Transportation. She maps potential environmental and cultural impacts of proposed transportation projects. Her experience includes 12 years as a GIS specialist. Ms. Hopkins previously worked for the:
- United States Forest Service
- Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment – Division of Environmental Quality
Ms. Hopkins has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Ecology & Management from Arkansas State University.
