The Regional Recycling & Waste Reduction District in Pulaski County (“District”) announced in a May 2nd news release that it has a new website.
The website is:
www. RegionalRecycling.org
The District states that the purpose of the website is to:
. . .help fulfill the district’s vision statement, which says, in part, “to inform and challenge local Arkansans to achieve maximum waste reduction, reuse and recycling,” through effective education and action.
The District states that it facilitates residential recycling services provided through a contract with Waste Management for Pulaski County, along with the cities of Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Sherwood. Also included are Jacksonville, Maumelle and Wrightsville. These three communities provide recycling services direct to their residents.
The website is stated to include information addressing:
- Residential service areas
- Pick-up schedules
- What should be placed in curbside recycling carts
- Special recycling, including electronics, household chemicals, construction and demolition waste, and used tires
- Licensing and permits
- Educational videos and current news items
