The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) announced the next topic in its 2018 Speaker Series which is titled:
Restoration and Management of Public & Private Lands (“Presentation”)
The Presentation will take place on August 30th at the West Fork Library Hall, 210 Garfield Avenue, in West Fork, Arkansas.
BWA states that the Presentation will be undertaken by Joe Woolbright and Joe Neal.
Mr. Woolbright is stated to be a retired General Contractor who founded Ozark Ecological Restoration, Inc. in 1998. Mr. Neal is described as an Ornithologist and a co-author of Arkansas Birds and History of Washington County, Arkansas.
Mr. Woolbright and Mr. Neal are scheduled to discuss the design, implementation and maintenance challenges for restoring and managing public and private lands and the ecological results from local projects.
BWA notes that prairies, wetlands and forests help to filter storm water and provide valuable ecosystem services to not only the Watershed, but also to the public and wildlife.
The Presentation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Prior to that, a free lunch is provided from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
