Arkansas Audubon announced that the Sixth Annual Arkansas Environmental Policy Summit (“Summit”) will be held on November 5th.
The Summit will be virtual this year.
Partner organizations involved in the Summit include:
- Arkansas Citizen’s Climate League
- Audubon Delta
- Arkansas Interfaith Power & Light
- Arkansas Public Policy Panel
- Sierra Club of Arkansas
The keynote address will be provided by Mr. Richard Heinberg, Senior Fellow at the Post Carbon Institute.
Agenda items include:
- Keynote Address – Solving Climate Change Means Confronting Power
- Climate Justice and the Marshallese Community
- How to Work More Effectively with Environmental Regulators
- Two Hot Issues in Arkansas Agriculture: Water & Dicamba
- Renewable Energy in AR: Where We Are, Where Can We Go
