The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) has scheduled its sixth forum of its public forum series that addresses growth in water resources in Northwest Arkansas.
Forum #6 is titled:
How can we lead change?
The forum is described as addressing:
. . . Techniques and Strategies for staying connected with our vision to courageously lead bold change for Smart Growth in our region for generations to come.
Anyone from the public is welcome to attend but those especially encouraged to participate include:
- City, county, and community planners
- Design and engineering professionals
- Government staff
- Water professionals
The forum will be held on September 28th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The location is the Fayetteville Public Library (Zeigler Room), Fayetteville, Arkansas. Lunch will be provided but requires RSVP to info@beaverwatershedalliance.org or call 479-750-8007.
BWA states it was formed to establish programming to maintain high quality drinking water in Beaver Lake and improve water quality on the Beaver Lake Watershed.
