The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) entered into a September 12th Expedited Settlement Agreement (“ESA”) with a Salina, Kansas, underground storage tank (“UST”) owner addressing an alleged violation of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act UST regulations. See Docket No. RCRA-07-2018-0294.
The UST owner is stated to be Hari Inc.
An inspection is stated to have been undertaken at the Salina, Kansas, UST owner’s facility. An inspection report is stated to have identified a violation described as:

Missing SIR records for May, June, and July 2017 and January, February, and March 2018 for both Tank #1 and Tank #2
The federal regulation allegedly violated is cited as 40 C.F.R. § 280.45.
The ESA assesses a civil penalty of $508.
