The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (“TDEC”) announced that Merrie Salyers has been promoted to the Memphis Environmental Field Office (“MEFO”) Division Manager of Remediation.
The announcement was published in TDEC’s Memphis Area Winter Newsletter on December 28th.
Ms. Salyers is stated to have previously served as an Environmental Consultant and was the West Tennessee Regional Brownfield Coordinator. Additional activities are stated to have included:
- Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials Region 4 Representative of the Site Assessment Focus Group
- TDEC Vapor Intrusion Work Group
Ms. Salyers’ degrees include:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering – University of Memphis
- Master of Science in Civil Engineering – University of Memphis
