The Center for Biological Diversity and a number of other environmental organizations submitted a May 15th Petition for Review (“Petition”) before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit challenging the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) rule titled:
Mid-Term Evaluation of Greenhouse Gas Emission Standards for Model Year 2022 – 2025 Light-Duty Vehicles
The rule was published on April 13th. See 83 Fed. Reg. 16,077-87.
These organizations object to EPA’s April 2nd announcement withdrawing the midterm evaluation rule.
