The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) has issued its National Program Guidances (“NPGs”) for FY 2025-2026.
NPGs communicate 2-year operational priorities and strategies for EPA programs at regions and delegated states, tribes, and territories.
EPA states that the NPGs also address:
- Flexibilities for grant management under the National Environmental Performance Partnership System
- Civil Rights obligations of grant applicants and recipients
- Agency obligations for engaging and investing in under-represented groups and disadvantaged businesses.
NPGs are issued by the following EPA offices:
- Office of Air and Radiation
- Office of Water
- Office of Land and Emergency Management
- Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention
- Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance
- Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights
- Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental relations
- Office of International and Travel Affairs
