                                            The publication Morning Energy states that U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) Region 6 Administrator Anne Idsal has been named Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator in the agency’s Office of Air and Radiation.
The position is second ranking in that Office.
EPA Region 6 encompasses includes the State of Arkansas.
Prior to joining Region 6 as Regional Administrator, Ms. Idsal had served as Chief Clerk and Deputy Land Commissioner for the Texas General Land Office. Further, she had served that office as General Counsel. Ms. Idsal has also served as General Counsel to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
