United States Senator John Barrasso, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works announced the Chairmen of the Committee’s four subcommittees during the 115th Congress.
Senator John Boozman (Arkansas) will serve as the Chairman of the Fisheries, Water, and Wildlife Subcommittee.
The Subcommittee of Fisheries, Water, and Wildlife’s jurisdiction includes:
- Clean Water Act (including wetlands)
- Safe Drinking Water Act
- Coastal Zone Management Act
- Invasive Species
- Fisheries and Wildlife
- Endangered Species Act
- National Wildlife Refugees
- Outer Continental Shelf Lands
The Environment and Public Works Committee’s other subcommittees include:
- Transportation and Infrastructure
- Clean air and Nuclear Safety
- Superfund, Waste Management and Regulatory Oversight
