Lakeshore Recycling Systems (“LRS”) announced in a November 3rd news release the acquisitions of operations whose territories include Arkansas, Kansas and Wisconsin.
LRS describes itself as a the Midwest’s leading independent waste diversion, recycling and portable services provider.
The acquisitions include:
- Orion Waste Solutions (territories include Arkansas, Kansas and Wisconsin)
- Waste Recycling Solutions – RAMCO (territory includes Little Rock, Arkansas)
The acquisitions are stated to add:
- 19 municipal contracts
- 140 new employees
- 115 trucks
- One construction and debris landfill
- Nine facilities
The added Arkansas territories are stated to include:
- Central and Northwest Arkansas (Bethel Heights and Harrison, Arkansas)
- Central Arkansas which includes a construction and debris landfill in Mayflower, Arkansas
LRS states that it is North America’s fifth largest privately-held waste and recycling company. The company specializes in providing comprehensive, fully integrated waste diversion and recycling services in the following states:
- Illinois
- Wisconsin
- Iowa
- Indiana
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Arkansas
- Kansas
