The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (“ANRC”) is holding a public comment hearing on March 24th to address proposed amendments to the rules implementing the Water Resource Conservation and Development Incentives Act (Title 14).
ANRC states the purpose of the amendments is to implement changes provided for in Acts 563 and 875 that were enacted during the 93rd Arkansas General Assembly in 2021.
The legislation addressed the following:
- Act 563 (Amends the time frame for completing certain water projects)
- Act 875 (Changed the available tax incentives for completing certain water projects)
The hearing will be held at 9:30 at the Arkansas Department of Agriculture, 1 Natural Resources Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas.
