Congressman Rick Crawford of Arkansas’ First District introduced H.R. 2594 which is titled:
Establishment of the Water Risk and Resilience Organization.
The Bill would establish a Water Risk and Resilience Organization to develop risk and resilience requirements for the water sector.
The development of the referenced Organizations would be the responsibility of the United States Environmental Protection Agency Administrator.
The Organization would engage in a number of activities such as assessing cybersecurity risk and resilience requirements, aid in the development and adoption of appropriate and necessary cybersecurity risk and resilience requirements, and related requirements.
H.R. 2594 has been referred to the United States House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure and Energy and Commerce Committees.
