The Arkansas Department of Agriculture announced the next Water Well Construction Committee (“Committee”) will meet on June 25th.
The Committee will meet at 10:00 A.M. at the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Division Office in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Arkansas Water Well Construction Act was created by the Arkansas General Assembly of 1969 to protect the general health, safety, and welfare of Arkansans by regulating water well construction and pump installations. The statute and rules promulgated by the Arkansas Water Well Commission (now the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission) are stated to provide a framework for the proper development of underground water in an efficient, orderly, sanitary, reasonable, and safe manner.
